“I had the honor of serving as the Eugene Symphony Association’s Executive Director for 11 years,” Scott Freck says.

In that time Freck broadened his skillset to include areas of audience development; board governance and government relations; corporate, foundation, and individual fundraising; and authentic community engagement and partnership-building at every level.

He deepened his understanding of healthy organizational culture and nurtured an atmosphere of mutual respect through open communication and honest collective bargaining. In all, he successfully shepherded a regional orchestra with a national reputation through times of growth, transition, and challenge.

Freck believes his toolbox would be useful for an organization in transition, helping to stabilize board and staff roles, triage mission-critical programs and initiatives, and assist in a vital stage of shared evolution.
